In this article Helen seems to be surrounded with down to earth people who love and support her Eg; Kate's son (Simon Mirren) encouraged his mother to attend the Oscars: “You have to be there, Mum, not in case she wins, but in case she doesn't win.” The entire day is told by Helen's sister Kate Mirren through her diary. A testimony that family is all important, not fame.
