Helen Mirren won the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences' Emmy award for Best Actress in a Mini-series of Movie for her portrayal of novelist-philosopher Ayn Rand in Showtime's production of Barbara Branden's biography The Passion of Ayn Rand.
